Yarn manufacturing process

1. Melt extrusion

The chips go into the extruder from the feeder by weight. Due to the rotation of the screw, the chips move forward along the screw groove. The outside of the screw barrel is equipped with a heater, and the heat is transferred to the chips through the barrel. At the same time, The friction between the chips and the extrusion generates a certain amount of heat. The chips are melted by heat and compressed by the extruder to have a certain melt pressure.It's important for yarn manufacturing process.


2. Measurement

The melt output from the extruder is distributed by the distribution pipe to the metering pumps of each spinning position for measurement to ensure that the linear density of the thread is consistent and the evenness of the thread is uniform. At the same time, the metering pump can pressurize the melt to meet the needs of high-pressure spinning.


3. Filter

Before spinning, use a filter to filter out impurities in the melt.


4. Spinning

After filtering, the melt is distributed to each hole on the spinneret by the distribution spinning plate, and spit out from the spinneret hole to melt trickle.

5. Cooling and forming

The melt trickle is cooled by the cooling medium and solidified into filaments is called cooling forming. While cooling, due to the stretching action of the spinneret, the melt trickle gradually refines before solidification. The cooling air forced by the upper side of the spinning shaft can ensure uniform cooling conditions.This is middle of yarn manufacturing process.


6. Oiling

Because the nascent fiber is relatively dry, it is easy to generate static electricity, and the cohesive force between the filaments is poor, the yarn is loose, the friction coefficient is large, and it cannot be post-processed. Therefore, the yarn sliver must be oiled during spinning. Although the oiling position is different when spinning with different processes, the purpose of oiling is that oiling can play a role in facilitating the bundle of filaments, reducing static electricity, and improving smoothness. Normally Yarn Spinning Machine adopts oil tank for oiling, and the cooled and formed yarn passes through the yarn duct before reaching the winder, and then contacts with the oil tank to finish the oiling.


7. Winding

The winding is completed by the cooperation of the upper and lower yarn guides, horizontal yarn guides and draw-off godet. The oiled yarn winding on the bobbin through the horizontal yarn guide after changing the direction and adjusting the tension through the upper and lower yarn guides. The paper tube is in contact with the draw-off godet up to winder with a certain pressure, and the same process speed is maintained through the friction transmission. This speed is the spinning speed. The whole yarn manufacturing process is completed.
